Cut across the stripe for the roof of a house and as binding for the rug. Cut in the same direction as the stripes: she used red, gold and blue sections for flowers and part of the house. Tan and brown/white sections were used in a goat. There are many ways to use this wool! |

Moondust An old favorite back again. Incredible speckled light neutral with tan, grey and ivory. Great for sheep, flag white, clouds or backgrounds. Wonderful bumpy texture to over-dye. Stagecoach A wonderful 2-sided stripe! The best kind f wool. You get 4 wools in one! I used this for the barn on the new rug “Noah’s Farm” (see Animals section). The side of the barn was hooked with the brighter side of the wool and the front of the barn was hooked with the darker side of the wool to make it look like it is in the shadows. |

Pine Island I’m so excited about his wool! This wonderful heather textured teal was milled to match one of my favorite vintage pieces of wool. Most of you know how I love teal, well here is a great one! This was used in several of my rugs: the sky of Shake Rag, the water in 1875 Ship at Sea (see miscellaneous section), Gently Down the Stream, Posy Pony (see animals section), Rosy Posy (see florals section), some of my chair pads (see geometrics section), and probably a few more.
