This is a design that has been in my head for many years. It combines my love of farm life and the story of Noah’s Ark. The farm animals are going two by two up to the barn with the water coming up from the bottom. My husband, Keith said it was prophetic since shortly after designing it, we had a lot of rain and the water was coming up towards the barn. No flooding happened here-thank God. I hooked this rug in mostly 9-cuts with narrower outlines in silk chiffon. The colors were inspired by the nearby soy bean fields with their beautiful fall colors.
